AWESOME WALLS LIVERPOOL TEMPORARY CLOSURE
Over the last twenty years, Awesome Walls has been proud to serve the climbers of Liverpool and the surrounding areas. Over the years we have made many changes and faced difficulties.
The fight that is now upon us is not just ours but everyone’s. We have followed government procedures to the letter and beyond. Despite our best efforts to keep our staff and customers safe the Government has called for a temporary closure for all climbing walls and similar businesses in the Liverpool area by placing us in the ‘High Risk- Tier Three’ category and into lockdown.
It is with great sadness that we must close our doors once again from Wednesday 14th October 2020 for the foreseeable future. We can not speculate on how long this will be, but we are expecting it to be longer than four weeks.
TLC (Totally Love Climbing monthly payment scheme)
We will be seeking whatever Government help is available to keep our excellent staff employed and our precious business afloat. However, we know from the phase 1 lockdown period how difficult that will be. Previously, some of our most valued customers dug deep and opted to maintain their TLC membership during our closure. This was of enormous help to us and, therefore, we are asking our members to once again consider helping us out. We do also understand how difficult this period is for all our customers. We will be automatically freezing all TLCs but would greatly appreciate it if you can continue to support us.
If you are able to help us, you can unfreeze your TLC membership, during our enforced closure, by using our TLC Amendment Form at https://awesomewalls.co.uk/liverpool-tlc/#Amendment
All TLC accounts will be automatically unfrozen once the centre reopens.
Bookings
All existing bookings after Tuesday 12th October will be held as credit on our system and can be rescheduled when possible, refunds can be requested by emailing refunds@awesomewalls.co.uk.
Going forward
It is never easy to ask for help but the simple truth is if we don’t ask we don’t get… With this in mind, we do require help to keep basics of the business ticking over during this period. Whilst everyone is not fortunate enough to be able to put their hand in their pocket in these times, some of us may be able to.

During our last lockdown, we received many letters, emails and comments on social media of positivity that gave our staff comfort and hope that when we reopened people would return and return they did. Please please, keep our spirits high again and keep in touch.
